The nazi camps in color

I was impressed (and every time when I see it again) by Walter Skudra when he told me about his motivation to pray for the victims of Naziregime. Walter Skudra was a member of the 1st Infantry Division (USA) who landed on Omaha Beach, on June 6th, 1944. His part is filmed in the Emmy-awarded documentary Omaha Beach, Honor and Sacrifice which I had the privilege to write the music.

Het documentary  "Nazi Concentration Camps" is a documentary that I found in the Public Domain Section of the Archive of the United States Government. It is an official documentary report compiled from films made by military photographers serving with the Allied Armies as they advanced into Germany. The films were made pursuant to an order issued by General Dwight D.Eisenhower, Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Forces in Western Europe.

The documentary is published on Back to Normandy (www.backtonormandy.org). The music is licensed and copyrighted to Fred Vogels (2016).

The original footage had poor audio and no music. I remastered the audio and composed a completely new soundtrack for this documentary.
